Reverse description The reverse displays a Guatemalan counterstamp consisting of the reverse design of the 1/2 Real of 1894, depicting the figure of Justice within a circular punch. The host coin's reverse shows the Guatemalan coat of arms with the denomination indicated below. Additional legends from the Peruvian host coin are visible in the field, including references to the Republic of Peru and Lima mint marks. The combined inscriptions from both the counterstamp and the host coin's original legends are legible around the periphery.
