Obverse description Central vignette of José Martí in intaglio bust portrait within an oval frame, printed in black and blue. To the left, the red circular seal of the Banco Nacional de Cuba. Serial numbers appear in red for the 1949 issue and black for the 1960 issue, with guilloche underprint throughout the field.
