| Obverse description | Printed in black on cream paper, the obverse is framed by a decorative border of fleur-de-lis and scroll motifs, with the denomination 'P 1 P' repeated at each corner. The central text panel bears a certification that the equivalent of one peso has been deposited in the Philippine National Bank, redeemable in Philippine Commonwealth currency upon cessation of the emergency, flanked by serial numbers. Four signature lines are provided below for the Provincial Governor, Provincial Treasurer, Provincial Auditor, and Assistant Provincial Treasurer, with 'SERIES A' appearing at the upper left and right. |
