Obverse description Plain light paper ground with a fine guilloche border along all four edges. The central text panel carries the issuing authority title in bold letterpress at the top, followed by the promise clause and denomination ONE PESO in large display type, with the series and serial number printed in red. The lower portion bears the printed signatures of the Acg. Manager of the PNB Bacolod Branch, the Provincial Fiscal as Member, and the Acting Provincial Auditor as Member of the Negros Occidental Currency Committee, with a circular official stamp at lower right.

Reverse description The reverse is printed on a uniform light guilloche underprint with a repetitive fine-line pattern covering the entire field, framed by a decorative scroll border on all sides. The denomination ONE PESO appears in large bold letterpress at centre top, with PHILIPPINE NATIONAL BANK and EMERGENCY CIRCULATING NOTE below, and the authority clause Issued by authority of the President of the Commonwealth of the Philippines in italic script at the lower centre. Corner numerals 1 punctuate each angle of the design.
