| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in black on white paper. At left, an oval intaglio vignette contains a bust portrait of a uniformed military figure in left profile, surrounded by an ornate lathe-work border. The centre carries a large guilloche rosette with the numeral '1' at its core, flanked by allegorical female figures; above the central vignette the promise clause 'PAGARÁ AL PORTADOR Á LA VISTA' is inscribed.
