Obverse description A condor with wings spread stands facing left at center, perched upon a rocky outcrop, grasping a shield adorned with a five-pointed star in its talons. The shield, rendered in fine line engraving, leans against the condor's body to the left. The national motto POR LA RAZON O LA FUERZA curves along the upper periphery in bold Latin lettering, flanked by a dentilated inner border. Two small five-pointed stars flank the date, which appears in the lower exergue. The entire design is enclosed within a toothed milled border.
