| Obverse description | Letterpress note in blue ink on cream paper, with a classical allegorical female figure at left standing beside a heraldic shield surmounted by a castle tower and holding aloft a basket overflowing with grapes and fruit, a bunch of grapes hanging at her side. The central panel carries the issuer legend "EL CONSEJO MUNICIPAL DE TOMELLOSO" in an arched banner above the denomination "UNA PESETA" in bold display type within a framed rectangle, flanked by guilloche scrollwork and a five-pointed star cartouche at upper right enclosing the numeral "1".
