Reverse description Central oval vignette in intaglio contains a still-life grouping of Don Quixote's armour — helmet, lance, shield, basin and open books — arranged symbolically. The vignette is framed by elaborate guilloche lacework with a pink underprint of foliate scrollwork filling the field. Numeral 1 denomination counters flank the central vignette on both sides.
