The issuing authority appears in two lines at the top — "Comité Ejecutivo Popular" and "Delegación de Banca" — above the large-format denomination statement "VALE por UNA peseta", with the place and date "Paiporta 9 Octubre 1936." applied at the foot. An oval violet control stamp of the Comité Ejecutivo Popular, Delegación de Banca, Paiporta is impressed centrally over the denomination text, serving as the principal authenticating device. |
