| Obverse description | Printed entirely in dark blue on plain white paper, the obverse is laid out in a straightforward letterpress style with no vignette or guilloche ornament. The issuer heading 'Unión de Comerciantes. - Onteniente' appears underlined at the upper left, while the large bold face value 'vale por 1 Pta.' occupies the centre-left of the note. To the right, the series designation 'Serie C' and a handwritten serial number are printed above a block of redemption text, below which the printed signature of the Treasurer, Francisco Cambra, appears alongside a circular violet control stamp of the issuing body; the Secretary's handwritten signature appears at lower left beneath the legend 'POR EL SECRETARIO'. |
