| Obverse description | Plain cream paper with a typeset design executed entirely in blue and red letterpress. A bold red rectangular border frames the note, subdivided into compartments: the upper register carries the denomination '1 PESETA' at left and a serial number field at right, separated by a central blue circular ornament. The issuer's name 'EL CONSEJO MUNICIPAL DE NULES' is set in large blue capitals across the full width, above a central panel bearing the promise-to-pay text in blue with the denomination 'UNA PESETA' in oversized red capitals. The date 'Nules 14 de Abril de 1937' appears in the lower portion, accompanied by three manuscript signatures below the roles of El Alcalde, El Interventor, and El Depositario. |
