| Obverse description | Light blue ground with elaborate acanthus-scroll borders in purple-violet flanking the central field at left and right. The municipal coat of arms of Lleida is centred at the top, with the denomination UNA PESSETA in bold serif capitals below it, over the issuing authority legend AJUNTAMENT DE LLEIDA in large type; a cursive authorisation clause follows beneath. Three facsimile signatures in the lower central zone are identified by the titles L'ALCALDE, L'INTERVENTOR, and EL CONSELLER DE FINANCES, while numeral 1 appears in dark circular cartouches at lower left and right, PESSETA in rectangular tablets at each corner, and a frieze of fruit and floral ornament runs along the bottom border. |
