Reverse description The large numeral '1' dominates the central field, accompanied to its right by a naturalistic spray of grapevine comprising a pendant bunch of grapes and a broad vine leaf, rendered in fine relief as an emblem of Spanish agricultural heritage. Below the numeral, the denomination PESETA is inscribed in bold capital letters, and the date 1937 appears in the lower exergue. The design is enclosed by a denticulated inner border running along the coin's periphery.
