Obverse description The centre of the note carries a circular vignette of the four-bar Catalan coat of arms enclosed within a laurel wreath, printed in rose-red on a plain light ground. The full municipal authority text and denomination 'UNA PESSETA' are set to the left of the vignette, with a large numeral '1' to the right. Three facsimile signatures of the municipal officials — L'Alcalde, El Secretari, and El Dipositari — appear at lower centre above the printer's imprint, accompanied by a blue oval municipal cachet at lower left.

Reverse description The reverse carries a letterpress vignette of the legendary 'Drummer of El Bruc', a young drummer boy rendered in a patriotic stance evoking the battle of 6 June 1808 against Napoleonic forces, with the massif of Montserrat visible in the background. The composition is executed in the illustrative letterpress style typical of Catalan Civil War-era local emergency currency. Denomination and mandatory circulation inscriptions frame the central image.
