| Obverse description | Left-facing draped bust of George Washington, first President of the United States (1789–1797), occupies the central field. The legend "ISLA DE PUERTO RICO" arcs around the upper periphery, while the face value "UNA PESETA" and the date "2009" appear along the lower border.
