| Obverse description | Full figure of a male peasant sower depicted in three-quarter view, wearing a wide-brimmed hat and striding across a ploughed field, his right arm extended in the act of broadcasting seed. The figure is rendered in a bold, stylized relief characteristic of Spanish Republican emergency coinage. The circular legend CONSEJO DE ASTURIAS Y LEON arcs around the upper periphery, while the word ESPANA appears in the lower field beneath the figure, all in Latin script. |

| Reverse description | The denomination numeral 1 is prominently displayed in the upper centre of the field, with the word PESETA in large block capitals immediately below. The date 1937 appears in the lower portion of the field. Above the numeral, a stylized rising sun with radiating rays emerges from the horizon line, occupying the upper register of the reverse and lending a symbolic, Republican character to the design. The entire composition is enclosed within a plain raised rim. |
