| Obverse description | Bare-headed youthful effigy of King Alfonso XIII facing left, depicted in military uniform with collar detail visible at the truncation. The portrait, engraved by Bartolomé Maura Montaner, presents the king as a young sovereign in his fourth official portrait type.
