| Obverse description | Bare-headed infant bust of King Alfonso XIII facing left, rendered in the so-called 'baby' or first portrait type, as engraved by Gregorio Sellán González. The effigy displays the young king's characteristic childlike features with natural hair, truncated at the shoulder. The date appears in the lower field flanked by two six-pointed stars. The circular legend runs along the outer border within a beaded inner circle. |
