| Obverse description | The obverse field is divided into decorative geometric and arabesque panels rendered in fine relief, evoking traditional Islamic tilework. To the upper left, the Shahada (Islamic declaration of faith) is presented in ornate Arabic thuluth calligraphy within a panel. To the upper right, the Hijri year 'H1441' is inscribed in Latin numerals. The large numeral '1' dominates the right field, with the denomination 'PERAK.' rendered in bold Latin capitals across the lower centre. The word 'درهم' (dirham) appears in Arabic script at the lower right, while the fineness and weight specification 'AG 999 2.975G' is inscribed vertically along the left border. |
