Reverse description The reverse bears a purely typographic design with no pictorial elements. The merchant's name THOMAS WHITE arranged around the upper left arc and continuing with ANDSON in two lines at the centre of the field, all within a beaded border. The location WESTBURY curves around the lower arc, completing the circular legend. The open field exhibits a characteristic engine-turned or flow-line finish consistent with mid-nineteenth century colonial tradesman's token production.
