Reverse description A long voided cross extends to the edges of the coin, dividing the reverse into four quadrants, with each arm terminating in a triple crescent or trefoil end, characteristic of the Late Long Cross type. A single pellet is placed in each of the four angles formed by the cross arms, providing additional decorative articulation to the field. The cross itself is bold and well-centred, with a small pellet or annulet at the central intersection. A beaded border frames the design, and the moneyer's legend in Latin characters encircles the periphery of the irregular flan.
