| Reverse description | A voided long cross extending to the edge of the flan divides the field into four quarters, each containing three pellets arranged in a triangular grouping. A small quatrefoil is placed at the centre of the cross, serving as the central ornament at the intersection of the arms. The design follows the standard late medieval English penny reverse type, with a beaded inner circle enclosing the cross and pellets. The Latin civic legend is distributed across the four quadrants of the reverse field in the customary divided format. |
