Obverse description The obverse field is entirely occupied by a bold three-line central legend reading FANCY / MUSEUM / SALE within an incuse circular border, surrounded by a beaded outer rim. Encircling the field, the peripheral legend reads J.D. LEESON along the upper arc and WATCHMAKER & JEWELLER along the lower arc, separated by raised dot stops. The design is purely typographic, with no figurative elements, and reflects the tradesman token tradition common to colonial Victoria.
