Reverse description A bold long cross pattée extends to the inner beaded circle, dividing the reverse field into four quarters. Each quarter contains a trefoil ornament, a diagnostic feature of Class A coinage. The mint name legend is distributed across the four segments of the outer field in the customary divided format. The beaded inner and outer circles frame the design in the standard fashion of English medieval hammered pennies.
