| Obverse description | A stylized Tudor rose in high relief occupies the central field, its five petals rendered in bold detail and surmounted at the top by a St. Edward's Crown. A central round hole pierces the coin through the heart of the rose. The circumference of the rose design is enclosed within a raised inner ring, beyond which the circular Latin legend reads GEORGE V KING EMPEROR, distributed around the full periphery of the obverse. The entire design is bordered by a beaded rim. |
