Obverse description Right-facing draped effigy of King George V, bare-headed with a crown, wearing the Imperial State Crown and the ermine-trimmed Robe of State, with the Collar of the Most Noble Order of the Garter and the Badge of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath visible at the breast. The portrait is rendered in high relief with fine detail to the robes and regalia. The circular legend surrounds the effigy, reading GEORGIVS V D.G.BRITT:OMN:REX F.D.IND:IMP: The rim is raised and dentilated.
