Reverse description Seated figure of Britannia facing left, helmeted and draped in classical robes, positioned on a rocky ground line above an exergual area bearing a decorative arrangement of national emblems — a rose, thistle, and shamrock. Britannia rests her left hand on a shield bearing the Union Jack, while her right hand raises a trident. The circumferential Latin legend BRITANNIAR: REX FID: DEF: runs around the periphery, and the whole design is contained within a toothed milled border.
