Reverse description A bold long cross pattée extends to the full edge of the coin, dividing the reverse field into four quarters. Each quarter contains a trefoil of pellets, a diagnostic feature of the class 2 coinage. An inner beaded circle intersects the arms of the cross, and the mint name legend in Lombardic lettering is divided into four segments by the cross arms, reading around the coin between the inner circle and the outer edge.
