Obverse description Single-sided bracteate (uniface) featuring a large Gothic letter W occupying the central field, rendered in bold relief with deeply cut strokes characteristic of medieval Gotlandic die work. A small pellet (dot) is positioned below the base of the letter W, serving as the primary identifying variety marker. The design is enclosed by a border of raised pellets forming a continuous inner ring around the circumference of the thin, irregularly shaped flan.
