Obverse description Central triquetra motif enclosed within a beaded inner ring, the interlaced three-cornered knot rendered in the Viking decorative tradition. The triquetra is surrounded by a largely illegible inscription in uncial characters disposed around the inner ring. A beaded border runs along the outer rim of the flan.

Reverse description A double-lined cross divides the field into four quarters; the upper-left and lower-right quarters each bear three pellets arranged in a triangular grouping.
