| Obverse description | Bracteate penny struck by hammering, displaying a schematic royal or heraldic device in the center of the field. The design features a stylized foliate or cruciform motif with trefoil elements at the crown and flanking decorative forms, consistent with medieval Norwegian penning coinage. The overall composition is rendered in low relief with an irregular planchet edge typical of hand-struck bracteate issues. No inscribed legend is present, the design relying entirely on the symbolic device for attribution. The style is characteristic of the Oslo Mint production under Håkon VI Magnusson. |

| Reverse description | As a bracteate coin, the reverse presents the incuse, mirror-image impression of the obverse design, showing the same schematic foliate and cruciform motif in negative relief. The surface is uneven and displays the characteristic shallow concavity of hammered bracteate technique. No legend or secondary device is present on the reverse field. The irregular flan edge reflects the hand-cut planchet preparation standard for medieval Norwegian minor coinage of this period. |
