Obverse description Crowned facing effigy of King Håkon V Magnusson, rendered in a stylized, medieval uncial tradition, enclosed within an inner beaded circle. The king's portrait is depicted frontally with a crown, characteristic of Norwegian royal coinage of the early 14th century. A circular legend in Latin uncial script surrounds the inner beaded ring, reading HAQVINVS RE NORVEGIE. An outer beaded ring frames the entire design at the rim.
