Obverse description Crowned facing bust of King Håkon V Magnusson within a beaded inner circle, rendered in the flat, stylized manner characteristic of medieval Norwegian hammered coinage. The royal effigy is depicted frontally with a prominent crown, the features schematically rendered. A circular Latin legend in uncial script surrounds the inner beaded ring, with a second beaded ring framing the entire design at the rim.
