Obverse description Quartered shield of arms surmounted by a crown, the upper two quarters each bearing an eagle displayed, the lower quarters featuring a rampant lion and a floral device respectively. The shield is framed by ornate scrollwork cartouche. Partial circular legend surrounds the field, reading MONETA PASE CC, partially visible along the rim of this irregularly struck hammered flan.

Reverse description Standing figure of Saint Prudentianus in episcopal vestments, facing slightly left, holding a long staff or crozier in his left hand and a book or palm in his right, with a halo about his head. The figure is rendered in a somewhat crude but vigorous late-sixteenth-century hammered style. The surrounding Latin legend reads S PRODENTIANV, partially visible around the rim, identifying the patron saint of Cocconato.
