Obverse description Central field occupied by the elaborate calligraphic tughra of Sultan Mustafa IV, rendered in the traditional Ottoman style with characteristic looped and ascending strokes. The monogram is positioned centrally within a plain inner field, surrounded by a beaded border running along the coin's periphery. The tughra incorporates the sultan's name and titles in a highly stylized Arabic script composition typical of early 19th-century Ottoman coinage.
