| Reverse description | The Arabic numeral '١' (1), denoting the denomination of one Para, is prominently displayed in the central field. Surrounding the central numeral, a continuous multi-line Arabic legend in flowing Ottoman calligraphy encircles the field, recording the pious invocation, the mint name (Misr/Egypt), and the Hijri year of issue (1255). The lower portion of the reverse bears the Hijri date '١٢٥٥' in clearly struck Arabic numerals. The design is framed by a beaded border consistent with the obverse. |
