| Additional information |
Pratapgarh was among the smaller Rajput princely states in what is now southern Rajasthan, its rulers maintaining nominal autonomy under British paramountcy while retaining the right to strike copper coinage for local circulation. Udaya Singh's issues from this period are distinguished largely by die variety rather than year, as precise dating of individual strikes within this reign is rarely reliable. KM#31.2 denotes a specific die subtype within the broader series.
