| Reverse description | The reverse field bears bold Arabic inscriptions arranged in two lines across the coin, divided by a horizontal line through the centre. The upper line carries a portion of the mint or ruler legend, while the lower line continues the inscription. The whole is enclosed within a dotted border, consistent with Mysore copper coinage of the Tipu Sultan period. The script is executed in a bold, fluid Nastaliq style typical of late 18th-century South Indian Islamic coinage. |
