| Reverse description | Central field displays the Hijri date ١٢٨٤ (1284 AH, corresponding to 1868 CE) inscribed in Eastern Arabic numerals in a similarly crude hammered style. The numerals are boldly rendered and dominate the reverse, with no additional decorative elements or border present. The strike is uneven, consistent with hand-hammered production, leaving portions of the flan weakly impressed. The plain, unadorned field surrounding the date is typical of the small copper paisa coinage of the Janjira Princely State. |
