Obverse description Hammered copper flan bearing a central Arabic inscription in multiple lines occupying the field, rendered in a bold Naskh or Tughra-influenced script typical of Sur Empire coinage. The legends are arranged horizontally across the coin's face and reference the name or titles of Sher Shah Suri. The surfaces display characteristic irregular striking with patchy green-brown patina consistent with heavy circulation. The field surrounding the inscription shows no decorative border, typical of the utilitarian character of Suri copper issues. Overall execution is characteristic of provincial hammered coinage of the mid-sixteenth century Sultanate period.
