| Reverse description | Hammered copper reverse bearing a multi-line Arabic inscription in bold Naskh script, filling the entire field without a formal border. The legend, partially legible due to the irregular strike and worn surfaces, references the ruler's titles and epithets in the tradition of Sur dynasty copper coinage. The script is arranged in horizontal registers across the flan, with letters boldly raised in relief against the rough, granular field. Peripheral areas of the flan are clipped and uneven, reflecting the hand-cut planchet preparation method common to mid-16th century Indian copper issues. No mint name or regnal year appears on this face, consistent with undated paisa issues of Sher Shah Suri. |
