| Obverse description | Central field displays the Maratha Peshwa mintmark in the form of a trisul (trident), a sacred Shaivite symbol rendered in bold relief within the irregular flan. Nagari script legend appears around the central device, with additional inscription elements distributed across the field. The die work is characteristic of hammered copper coinage of the period, exhibiting irregular strike and flan preparation typical of provincial Maratha mints. |
