Reverse description Hammered field bearing Arabic script inscriptions referencing the Mughal emperor Shah Alam II, the nominal suzerain under whose name this Gwalior princely coinage was struck. The mint name legend reading 'zarb dar al-fath ujjain' is distributed across the field in multiple lines, identifying the Ujjain mint. The flan is irregular and thick, typical of hand-struck copper coinage, with partial verde patination visible across the surface. The inscription layout follows the conventional Mughal provincial paisa format with the regnal reference above the mint formula.
