| Obverse description | Crude hammered copper flan bearing a stylized floral or foliate device at center, surrounded by a rope or beaded border along the periphery. The design is struck in low relief with characteristic irregularity of hand-hammered coinage. The field shows natural porosity and patination consistent with copper issues of the Dhar princely state. |

| Reverse description | Central field bears a Nagari legend reading 'श्री जसवंत राव', the name of the ruling chief Jaswant Rao of Dhar, inscribed in two or three lines. The lettering is boldly engraved in the hammered style typical of Central Indian princely coinage of the mid-nineteenth century. The irregular flan and crude strike are characteristic of the Dhar mint's output during this period. |
