Obverse description Central field features a stylized temple or shrine motif rendered in low relief, depicting a pointed spire or shikhara surmounting a rectangular plinth with horizontal stepped tiers, characteristic of Hindu sacred architecture. Diagonal hatched lines fill the background field on either side of the central device, framing the shrine and lending a textured appearance typical of hammered coinage of Indian princely states. The flan is irregular in shape, consistent with hand-struck production. The overall execution is bold and schematic, reflecting local artisanal die-cutting traditions. No legend appears on this face.
