Obverse description Heavily corroded hammered copper flan displaying a bold radiate or sun-burst device occupying the central field, with diverging raised lines emanating from a central raised boss, characteristic of the decorative geometric motifs employed on Akbar-era copper coinage. The irregular flan edge, typical of hand-struck Mughal paisas, is visible around the periphery. The surface exhibits extensive green patination and cuprite encrustation consistent with prolonged burial. Legend or mint name, if present, is largely obscured by corrosion.
