Reverse description Central field bears a cartouche of elliptical form enclosing Arabic-script legends identifying the regal year and mint authority, struck in the bold relief typical of hammered Baroda copper coinage. The cartouche is enclosed within a plain linear border, with additional inscriptional matter visible in the lower exergual area. The overall design follows the Mughal administrative tradition adapted by the Gaekwad rulers of Baroda for their subsidiary copper currency.
