Obverse description Shiva and Parvati seated facing, depicted in stylized relief in the South Indian tradition. Shiva is shown holding a damaru (hand drum) and an antelope head, with characteristic iconographic attributes rendered in bold, somewhat crude die-cutting typical of early Vijayanagara coinage. A crescent moon symbol appears above the figures. The composition fills the irregular flan, with no legend present on this side.
