| Obverse description | The Royal Arms of Tonga displayed centrally within the field, featuring a quartered shield bearing a star of David and a white dove in the first and fourth quarters, crossed swords and a stylised cross in the second and third quarters, surmounted by a royal crown. Two Tongan national flags flank the shield as supporters, and a scroll beneath bears the national motto in Latin characters: 'KOE OTUA MO TONGA KO HOKU TOFIA'.
