Reverse description The reverse features two facing portrait busts in high relief on either side of the field: a left-facing bust on the left and a right-facing bust on the right, flanking a centrally placed decorative ornamental object resembling an elaborate lantern or mace with a spherical head covered in circular motifs. The legend arcs along the upper rim naming three historical figures associated with Aalen, with an additional inscription in the lower field and the fineness mark in the exergue. The engraver's initials 'K.N.' appear in the lower right field.
